Our curriculum intent is firmly rooted in our Christian vision of John 10:10

‘ I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’

We want our children to be well prepared for the rigours of modern life and have the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary for them to flourish in a multi-cultural and diverse society.

The content of our curriculum has the National Curriculum (2014) at its core but then we have personalised the curriculum to meet the needs of our children. Subject leaders have prepared detailed plans which sit behind the long term plan to ensure that there is a clear progression of knowledge and skills.

As children spend two years in each key stage, the long term plans are over a two year period to provide the appropriate coverage. This is explained in the documents below.
