Curriculum

Children are taught the statutory curriculum for their year group. As well as this, children are given lots of opportunity to explore their own ideas and interests in our indoor and outdoor provision.

 

Children in Reception primarily learn through play. Their interests are built upon to extend their learning and knowledge. Where appropriate, children in Reception will take part in focused, adult-led activities to introduce them to new ideas and to ensure that they experience all areas of learning in the EYFS. For more information about the statutory curriculum for Early Years, please click here.
